    ESA Director General visits Slovenia

    Economic Development and Technology Minister Zdravko Počivalšek today received the Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA) Johann-Dietrich Woerner. Together they visited the Slovenian GIS company Sinergise, the overall winner of last year's edition of the ESA's Copernicus Masters competition on the use of satellite data.

    Počivalšek: Another record year for Slovenian tourism

    At today's press conference Minister Počivalšek explained that Slovenian tourism achieved record results once again last year. Tourist numbers were up by 9% on the previous year and overnight stays – which in 2015 exceeded ten million for the first time since Slovenia became independent – increased by 8%.   Read more
